Meet the ladies of "SPECTRE"

Here are the ladies of "SPECTRE" (2015).

Source: USA TODAY

Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann

The doctor daughter of an assassin, Swann comes into contact with Bond at her Austrian clinic, and while there is a spark between them, their first meeting is abrupt, to say the least. "He comes to find her," Seydoux says, "and she doesn’t want anything to do with him."

Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra

Bond arrives in Italy looking for information from the widow, whose Mafioso husband has been murdered — a fate that might be waiting for her as well. "She comes from a man’s world," Bellucci says. "But when the attraction between them takes place and she realizes her feminine power on him, then she trusts him to save her."

Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny

Moneypenny was a young and very green MI6 agent in 2012's Skyfall, and the events of the film — in which she nearly killed our favorite British superspy by accidentally shooting him — "made her reassess what she was doing as a profession and what she wanted to do with the rest of her life," Harris says. In Spectre, "she wants to support in a different way. There’s a maturity in that decision and a groundedness you see with her."

Stephanie Sigman as Estrella

Sigman would love to say, but she's sworn to secrecy about pretty much everything involving her character, including her last name. But when it comes to Estrella's personality, "there's a lot of Stephanie in her. She's a lot like me," the Hollywood newcomer says. "We like to have fun and we're joyful people. I found her really easy to play and go with the flow and just be me."

Press conference comments of Michael G. Wilson and Stephanie Sigman, "SPECTRE" including VIDEO

Michael G. Wilson:

About the villains:
"I think we never had the villain as Mexican so it wasn't something we had to change. The villain was always an Italian. The government provided technical support, like getting permits to shoot in certain locations or advising on things such as which security force would be involved in certain situations" .

About changing the screenplay:
"It's more like us asking questions and then discussing it with (Mexican authorities) than them demanding anything in the way of changing the screenplay".

About how Mexico will be shown:
"I know they want to see, they would love to see Mexico in a good light and we are not here to put Mexico in a bad light".

About a Mexican Bond girl:
"So, no, I never worried about that, producers always planned to have a Mexican Bond girl".

About the opening scene:
"1,500 extras will take part in the opening scene and 80 make-up and hair artists have been mobilized. Streets in the historic centre will shut down for filming on Thursday, with closures planned until the end of March".

"We're here to make entertainment. "We are not here to tell a political story. There's plenty of filmmakers who do political stories, and my hat goes off to them, they are great filmmakers. But we are strictly entertainment people."

Stephanie Sigman:

About how Mexico will be shown:
"I have made all kinds of movies, which look at good and bad sides, and I think there are many layers in countries, situations and including in us as human beings".
