"SPECTRE" filming at New Airport Palenque, Mexico

"SPECTRE" (2015) team has moved to New Airport Palenque to continue filming the last scenes in Mexico. Six trucks and about 130 people moved to the area of Palenque to shoot the scenes that were not possible to film in high-risk areas of Mexico City.

Chuck Aaron who is an expert and a specialist of aerial acrobatics will fly and perform stunts on a helicopter.

Charles 'Chuck' Aaron (call sign "Malibu") is the only pilot licensed by the FAA to perform aerobatics in a helicopter in the United States, and one of only three such pilots in the world. In 1980, Aaron worked on the air rescue program for NASA's Space Shuttle, and he founded his own company, FX Helicopters in Westlake Village, California in 1997.

Aaron is also an experienced test pilot, having test-flown a tracking system for the Boeing AH-64 Apache; and an infrared vision system as the first helicopter pilot to deliberately fly into brownout conditions. He is also an FAA certificated Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic, known for having assembled three working TAH-1F Cobras from surplus parts. (Wikipedia)

The location of Palenque International Airport was chosen due to the infrastructure and technology that it has. Natural scenery is surrounding the site, not to mention that the archaeological site is just behind the area.

Daniel Craig flown from Mexico City to New York for surgery on serious knee injury

According to Mirror, Daniel Craig was hurt while filming action scenes for "SPECTRE" in Austria. The injury got worse during a fight scene days later at Pinewood Studios near London. In Mexico he decided the knee would have to receive treatment.

He flew from Mexico City to New York, where he lives with his wife Rachel Weisz in a penthouse in Manhattan’s East Village. His operation was carried out last week by specialist medics.

According to BBC News, spokeswoman of EON stated: "During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood," she said.

Daniel Craig was seen on Monday morning 30 April 2015
leaving for the clinic to have a surgery

A source said: “Craig has been struggling with his knee since he first hurt it in the Alps in January. His body has taken a hell of a battering while filming Bond, because he really throws himself wholeheartedly into a very demanding part. He took the opportunity to have this surgery done while there was a chance to film scenes in which he was not needed.
He expects to be back to meet his schedule and we are confident he will be fully fit again and there will be no delays.”
