New exhibition of contemporary art celebrating James Bond

This summer James Bond comes to Bletchley Park. On display in Hut 12, a temporary art exhibition celebrates Ian Fleming’s original James Bond series, as well as the most recent 007 continuation novels written by critically acclaimed author, Anthony Horowitz.

Alan Fears, ‘From Breakfast with Love’ (2018).
Inspired by the scene in ‘Trigger Mortis’ (2015), by Anthony Horowitz, where Bond and Pussy Galore share an awkward breakfast in Bond’s flat.

New Bond novel by Anthony Horowitz is called "Forever and a Day" and it will be published 31 May 2018 in the UK.

The book will be using original material by Ian Fleming and it is a prequel to "Casino Royale" (1953), Ian Fleming's first Bond novel.

007 Book: Trigger Mortis

Bond book: Trigger Mortis
Publication date: 8 September 2015

Trigger Mortis is a 2015 James Bond novel written by Anthony Horowitz, and the latest Bond novel to be commissioned by the estate of Bond's creator Ian Fleming. The book, which will be published on 8 September 2015, is set in 1957 against the backdrop of the Space Race, and begins two weeks after the events of "Goldfinger" (1959). It will also contain previously unpublished material written by Fleming for an unfilmed television series, "Murder on Wheels", which Horowitz has used to write the opening chapter. The novel, the first in the literary series to be set during the original timeline created by Fleming, sees the return of Bond girl Pussy Galore, who made her debut in "Goldfinger". The book was announced on 28 May 2015 to coincide with Fleming's 107th birthday.

Bond author Anthony Horowitz's new Bond book title revealed


It has been 107 years of the birth of Ian Fleming (1908 - 1964) today 28th May 2015. To celebrate this latest Bond author Anthony Horowitz revealed the title of his new 007 book.

And the title is "TRIGGER MORTIS". 



Novel will be published on September 8


The novel will feature also Pussy Galore who is known of course from  Fleming's "Goldfinger" (1959) and the story will be set just after two weeks after the end of "Goldfinger" and the plot uses an unused Fleming storyline called "Murder on Wheels".

Who: Anthony John Horowitz
Born: 5 April 1955, London Borough, England

Anthony Horowitz, OBE (born 5 April 1955) is a prolific English novelist and screenwriter specialising in mystery and suspense. His work for children and teenagers includes The Diamond Brothers series, the Alex Rider series, and The Power of Five series (aka The Gatekeepers). His work for adults includes the novel and play Mindgame (2001) and the Sherlock Holmes novel The House of Silk (2011). He has also written extensively for television, contributing numerous scripts to ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot and Midsomer Murders. He was the creator and principal writer of the ITV series Foyle's War, Collision and Injustice.

007 News: Anthony Horowitz is the writer of a new Bond novel

Ian Fleming Publications Limited has announced that Anthony Horowitz will write a new Bond book and it will be released worldwide 8 September 2015.

Book will be set in 1950's and it is going to contain previously unseen material written by Ian Fleming.
