Bond connection: Penelope Smallbone was an assistant secretary to Miss Moneypenny. Smallbone appears to be equally smitten with Bond, despite a "thorough briefing" on the subject by Moneypenny. Apparently intended as either a foil or a replacement for Moneypenny, Smallbone appeared only once.
