Mission:
Provoke a war between the UK and China by leading a British warship into Chinese territorial waters before sinking it. This is followed by a plan to fire a nuclear missile on Beijing. As a result, Carver will be permitted to expand his media franchise into China for the next century.
Fate of the Bond villain:
Shredded to bits after Bond forces him into the path of his own remote controlled Sea-Vac Drill.
