Bond film characters will be available as Funko Pop!

James Bond and other memorable Bond film characters will be available as Funko Pop! Vinyl figures this December (2017). The series will include two versions of 007 from "GOLDFINGER" (1964) and "THE SPY WHO LOVED ME" (1977).

The iconic “Golden Girl” from GOLDFINGER will also be available alongside supervillain Blofeld, complete with white cat, Oddjob and Jaws. Bond, as seen in "DR. NO" (1962) and "OCTOPUSSY" (1983) and Oddjob throwing his lethal hat will be sold exclusively in select stores.

M - The head of MI6

When in "Skyfall" (2012) M (Judi Dench) is tragically killed, Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes) is named as her successor.

In "SPECTRE" (2015), the new M is forced to suspend Bond following his rogue mission in Mexico. He comes under serious pressure from within the intelligence services when the Double-0 section is under threat from a new initiative called Nine Eyes, headed by C. After discovering that the terrorist organisation Spectre is behind Nine Eyes, M and Q succeed in stopping its activation but a subsequent struggle between M and C results in C falling to his death. M then goes on to arrest Spectre villain Blofeld on Westminster Bridge.

007 Film: "SPECTRE" (2015)

This villain is known as Franz Oberhauser, but reveals that he rejected his father's name, and takes his mother's maiden name, Blofeld.


Mission: Gain political power by bringing the world's intelligence agencies under his control through the "Nine Eyes" program; also kill Bond for supposedly stealing his father's love and for ruining several of his previous plans.


Fate of the Bond villain:
He receives a facial scar due to Q's exploding watch. Captured and arrested by MI6.

"SPECTRE" (2015) speculations by 007 Travelers

SPECTRE logo in the bullet hole......or is there something more?

"A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."

Logo's bullet hole is pretty much similar to the octopus logo as well as to a bullet hole in Aston Martin's windshield in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969). Was it also just coincidence that just before press conference started, they played music from "OHMSS", followed by "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971), which is the next film in the series.

Could this mean that "SPECTRE" (2015) starts from where "OHMSS" ended? Well, this of course would cause some plot holes if we think the whole series. Blofeld appeared again in "Diamonds Are Forever"... but then again there have been strange things in the series before. For example Bond meets Blofeld for the first time in "You Only Live Twice" (1967), but then Blofeld doesn't recognize Bond in the next movie "OHMSS". Well, in "YOLT", Blofeld was played by Donald Pleasence and in "OHMSS" Telly Savalas, but anyway. And we would need Irma Bunt back in this case also, because she was the one who shot the lethal bullets, which killed Bond's wife Tracy. Also Q is much younger today than then...

So maybe we should go more back in time then? Maybe we are in time when nobody has ever heard of SPECTRE? Oberhauser, played by Christoph Waltz is an old family friend of Bond's. Bond discovers that Oberhauser is more an enemy than a friend and is actually a head of international crime organization SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion)...

Let's think of the character of Oberhauser a bit. All Ian Fleming fans of course remember that the character Hannes Oberhauser is in "Octopussy" (1966) short story.

"James Bond looked Major Smythe squarely in the eyes. "It just happened that Oberhauser was a friend of mine. He taught me to ski before the war, when I was in my teens. He was a wonderful man. He was something of a father to me at a time when I happened to need one.""

Could this create some sort of father - son relationship between Bond and Oberhauser? In the book Bond investigates Oberhauser's death, so maybe this is far fetched? Or is it?

Or is it just that Oberhauser is a "new Blofeld". This idea comes from John Gardner´s books from 1980's, when he brought SPECTRE back in his books. SPECTRE will rise from death like a phoenix bird and will be more powerful than ever.

What if Mr. White shows up? How would that change things?
It seems he is coming back, at least according to Jesper  Christensen himself. If this happens, what will the connection be between SPECTRE and Quantum organizations?

Well these are just thoughts what came to mind. There are excellent screen writers and director in the Bond team, so we can expect real high octane action, with excellent script and the cast seems to be perfect for another Bond classic. Less than one year to go, friends...

Christoph Waltz is said to play the role of Ernst Stavro Blofeld in "Bond 24".
The shooting will begin in December 2014.
