Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) green evening dress
“I didn’t want a red carpet dress but something that could be rolled up in a suitcase, dressed up or dressed down. Something sexy and simple.”
“This is the dress that she is given by Oberhauser. It is not her personal choice. It had to be intriguing and powerful – like him.”
Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci) black jacket and hat
“She had to be dressed like an iconic Italian star; elegant and sculptural against the clean ‘30s architecture.”
“Bond is in disguise and has to fit in with gangsters moving in a daring way. The details in the shirt for example, the collar is more Italian style: it is Bond in disguise.”
“This outfit has an army background and was inspired by “Chasseurs Alpins”, a French regiment. The vintage trousers and jacket were then remade by Tom Ford.”
Bond (Daniel Craig) white tuxedo
“It was very hard to do better than the "Skyfall" blue tuxedo but I took my inspiration from Humphrey Bogart in “Casablanca” the film and Morocco. Daniel added the red carnation buttonhole and it looked absolutely sublime.”
“It is soft like the cat and the shape is so simple it is frightening. He is such a powerful villain, he does not need unnecessary details.”
