Overlooking London’s Green Park is the world-famous Ritz Hotel. This stunning Neoclassical building offers the height of opulence with luxurious bedrooms, exquisite British cuisine, and classic afternoon teas.

Bedrooms at The London Ritz combine stunning period architecture and antique furnishings with modern amenities. Decorated in warm colours, they feature high ceilings, ornate fireplaces and chandeliers. Rooms are air-conditioned and feature iPod docks, Wi-Fi access and elegant bathrooms with designer toiletries.

The Ritz offers exceptional service and has 2 staff members for every guest. The Ritz Club Casino adjoins the hotel and many theatres of the West End are close by.

The Ritz Restaurant is a magnificent bastion of the culture of classical service and a dining room of unadulterated opulence created in reverence to haute cuisine. Established by Auguste Escoffier, one of history's most influential chefs, The Ritz Restaurant is considered by many to be the most beautiful hotel dining room in the world and features towering marble columns, soaring floor to ceiling windows, vast kaleidoscopic ceiling frescoes, gilded neoclassical statues and a spectacular garland chandelier that envelops diners within a halo of light.

Afternoon tea price was £ 40 / person, (2010). Tea menu was extensive, two teapots, one for each as well as a 3-storey trey full of finest pastries and sandwiches.

"James Bond was sitting on his bed in The Ritz Hotel in London, holding the telephone to his ear. There was a moment of silence and then he heard a man’s voice. ‘This is Captain Walker speaking. Can I help you?’
Bond spoke slowly and clearly. ‘This is Commander James Bond, agent number 007. Please would you put me through to M, or his secretary, Miss Moneypenny?’"

Ian Fleming "The Man with the Golden Gun"
